The Central Library serves as the knowledge hub of the institution and is housed in the main academic block. Spread over two floors with a total area of 3400 sq.ft, the library provides a spacious and comfortable environment that supports academic learning and research.Designed to accommodate up to 100 users, the library offers a quiet and welcoming atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff to read, study, and carry out research activities. The well-maintained surroundings encourage focused learning and productive use of library resources.
The library has implemented Linways, an open-source Integrated Library Management System to automate its operations. This system simplifies library functions such as cataloguing, circulation, acquisitions, serial management, and stock verification, ensuring efficient service delivery and effective resource management.
Operating under an Open Access System, the library enables users to browse the shelves independently and access the available resources without requiring assistance. This system promotes self-directed learning and facilitates easy exploration of the library collection. By combining modern automation, open access to resources, and a learner-friendly environment, the Library continues to support the institution's mission of promoting academic excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning.
