Dr. K.K.Abdul Rasheed, the Principal of Musaliar College of Engineering, Chirayinkeezhu, has served various academic positions in various instituions in Kerala. He has Ph.D in the field of Cryogenic Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He was a member of Board of Studies (UG) at University of Calicut and Kerala. He was a member in panel of Experts for approval process in AICTE, New Delhi. He was the vice president of Association of Food Scientists and Technologists during the year 2014 and 2015.He was the principal of TKM Institute of Technology, Kollam during 2010-2013 and KMCT Engineering College, Kozhikode during 2007-09.
He is an eminent scholar. With his guidance, 4 PhD’s were awarded. About 20 MTech projects were guided by him and 2 PhD’s are in progress. He was also the project coordinator for an AICTE project titled “Development of a single stage Orifice Pulse Tube Refrigerator for application in the field of superconductivity”
He is interested in developing personality skills among the students by encouraging a number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like NSS, NCC and motivates all the students in organizing innovative programs. He has published a large number of technical papers and participated in international conferences.
