He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, an institution ranked in the NIRF Ranking 2025, and completed his Post-Doctoral Research (PDF) at T.K.M. College of Engineering, Kollam. He also earned an Masters in Thermal Engineering from Anna University and a B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calicut.
Prof. Dr. Sreejesh S R Chandran is an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic administrator with more than 18 years of combined experience in industry and Engineering Education. He has served in several leadership roles in reputed engineering institutions in Kerala, contributing significantly to academic excellence, research promotion, and institutional development.
Dr. Sreejesh has held several important academic leadership positions including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Professor & Head of Department, Professor-Research & Collaboration and Principal at reputed engineering institutions in Kerala where he contributed significantly to academic administration, institutional growth, and research development.
With extensive experience in higher education management, he has actively contributed to institutional accreditation and quality assurance processes such as NAAC and NBA initiatives, academic audits, and quality enhancement activities, helping institutions strengthen academic standards and governance systems.
His research interests include heat transfer enhancement using nanofluids, heat exchanger performance optimization, solar energy systems, and alternative fuels for engines. He has authored 10 SCIE and 2 Scopus indexed research publications, 2 other Journal Publications contributed book chapters in international publications, and holds a granted patent valid until 2034.
Dr. Sreejesh has also been actively involved in academic administration, university examination systems, completed 8 collaborative research with national and international institutions with QS Global rankings, and innovation initiatives. Dr. Sreejesh is also a registered research guide at Professor Level in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University , mentor faculty and students, and promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary research in emerging areas of engineering.
