The Parent Teacher Association is headed by the PTA executive committee. The permanent invitees of the executive committee include the management, represented by Sri P I Sherief Muhammed, Chairman of the Musaliar Education Trust (MET), Mr. M Ibrahimkutty IFS, General Secretary of MET, Dr. Sreejesh S R Chandran, Principal of Musaliar College of Engineering who serves as President of the PTA, and the HODs of various departments. The executive committee also comprises at least two nominated parent members from each class.
The Parent – Teacher Association (PTA) is formed with a view to maintain an effective interaction between the Institution and the Parents and also to promote holistic development of students. Parent Teacher Association meets whenever necessary to discuss the issues connected with the smooth functioning of the College. Academic performance of students and campus behaviour are informed to parents through SMS for better academic coordination.
The PTA executive committee coordinates activities, acts as liaison between parents and the institute, gathers stakeholder feedback, and conducts periodic meetings including the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM).
