The Founder of the Trust.An highly experienced person .1n the field education, managing the Technical and Non-technical educational .institutions for the last four decades. He is the Chairman of the governing body of the TKM, College of Engineering the TKM College of Arts and Science, TKM Institute of Management, TKM Institute of Technology Ezhukone, Kollam, TKM School of Information and Information Technology and The TKM Public School. He is also the president of the Thangal Kunju Musaliar Trust, which established and manages these institutions. The TKM College of Engineering was the first private sector Engineering College in the state of Kerala. Mr. Musaliar is also a member of the Senate - Kamaraj University Madurai and member of the Syndicate and also Academic Council of the Anna University, Chennai.

He has also been actively associated with the establishment and development of educational institutions for almost four decades. He has been also served as member of the senate and member of the Faculty of Commerce of the University of Kerala. He was also member of the Governing Body of the Regional Engineering College, Warangal. Mr. Shahal Musaliar was born on April 22, 1932 at his ancestral home In Kollarn, Kerala, India. He is the eldest son of the leading industrialist and educationalist the Late Janab A. Thangal Kunju Musaliar. After higher studies in USA, Musaliar has been actively involved in the Export trade and in the development of the TKM Institutions, which have now grown into portals of excellence especially in technical education. Thousands of students that have graduated from the TKM institutions are placed at the highest levels of industry all over the world.
