Civil Engineering is considered as the most versatile and single largest branch among all the Engineering branches with a lot of diversity. The environment in which the Civil Engineering Professionals work has never been comfortable. Frequent advancements and introduction of new materials, development in technologies and processes warrant the Civil Engineers to be alert and vigilant to cope with the changing situations and rise to the occasion to deliver the goods. The advent of globalization, new markets and changing employment patterns give a global outlook to the Engineering Profession.

The Civil Engineering branch was started in the year 2011 with an annual intake of 60 students. The Department of Civil Engineering is a vibrant place for learning, where students pursue their educational interests in order to lead the next generation to better prospects.
